Using industry standard blocks, you will undertake exceptional tasks such as:
- Making the strapless bodice
- Boning techniques and positioning
- Draped back cowl option for the dress & bodice
- Waterfall skirt for dresses or separates
- Fabric preferences, interlining & support structures
- Key construction techniques- hem & seam finishes
Demonstrated techniques through sewing samplers and mock ups for 3D understanding during 2D pattern making. Time allotted for questions and discussions on fabric, additional techniques, and pattern choices to enhance learning.
