Course Content Includes:
- HOW JACKETS FIT & HOW TO MAKE THEM FT YOU WELL. Looking at fitting techniques, balance, tight fits, bust areas, bicep room and correct length fits.
- PANT ISSUES. Fixing those crotch and leg issues. More room in the seat and refining the fit to suit your body, waistband issues, length through upper body and leg- key differences to identify
- SHIRTS AND TOPS- Shoulder issues and drag lines, bust issues, understanding how your body aligns with the pattern you have.
- OVERALL IDEAS OF WHY GARMENTS CAN FAIL AND HOW TO FIX THEM
GARMENTS WE WILL BE FOCUSSING ON:
Dresses, jackets, pants and shirts - garments and patterns and so many more amazing techniques and industry secrets to share!
We provide you with
- Mock ups of garments to show how these techniques work.
- Pattern making paper for class exercises
- Long rulers to use during class time
- Examples of ill-fitting garments to demonstrate how to fix.
- Examples of correct fitting garments.
