Whether you are patternmaking for yourself or running a fashion business, this workshop utilizes traditional grading concepts with modern technical applications to improve the fit for a variety of body types.
Course content:
We will be looking at the techniques of Curve Grading using these key garment types
- CURVE GRADING FOR THE SKIRT
- CURVE GRADING FOR THE PANT
- CURVE GRADING FOR THE DRESS WITH SLEEVE- Covers the Bodice and Bust
This course focuses on the key techniques and processes used in industry to develop correct knowledge pathways for you to adopt for your own sewing or business needs.
⚧ - These workshops acknowledge & facilitate pattern making for all genders, including trans, neutral and non-binary.
We provide you with:
· Cardboard pattern blocks
· Glossary of terms
· Handouts of advanced pattern making techniques
· Pattern making paper for class exercises
· Long rulers to use during class time
Please bring with you, if you have them:
Thread clippers/ small scissors, pens, pencils, eraser, notebook, small ruler, pins
